Hello, I'm Anna!
I am a Japanese American artist, illustrator, and designer based in Seattle, creating vibrant, whimsical illustrations, public art, and community-centered projects. My work blends nostalgic details with bold compositions, always full of color and joy. Through lively patterns and a touch of magic, I invite viewers to see the world with a little more wonder. I believe art is a powerful tool for individual empowerment and community healing, and my goal is to inspire joy, create space for connection, and uplift underrepresented voices.
My freelance and commissioned work spans murals, public art installations, traffic signal box designs, live painting, spot illustrations, tattoo designs, community zines, and branded merchandise, with pieces featured in local exhibitions.
Beyond my main art practice, I run Happitat, a temporary tattoo business pop-up celebrating playful self-expression, and am the co-founder of Seattle Rise Collective, a community-centered organization uplifting women and gender-expansive creatives.
